Scalablocks
This is a game I made for the GMTK Game Jam 2024.
You have been stuck in an underground mine and you are trying to escape. Luckily, you have been granted the power of resizing the blocks found in the levels.
You will have to carefully scale the blocks to get through the puzzle. The blocks might interact with other interesting objects.
Controls:
- A & D or Left & Right Arrows to move around
- Space, W or Up Arrow to jump
- Left Click to grow the blocks
- Right Click to shrink the blocks
- Escape to pause
- R to restart the level
Assets used:
- Character: Platformer Pack from Kenney.nl
- Blocks : Blocks from Kenney.nl
- Wasd and Right/Left Click prompts: Input Prompts from Keney.nl
- Game Icons: Game Icons from Keney.nl
- Music: Music by Intersonic Sound
If the text doesn't show or looks weird, reload the page. If it still doesn't work just remember that on the main menu, the small block is Quit, the big box is Play and the medium box is Options.

- Extract the file that you downloaded
- Open the file and find the application
- Open it and enjoy

Really straightforward and fun game! Looks nice, too.
This game game mechanic was very well done. Good game.
Fun mechanic, nice puzzles. the camera is a bit slow following you, specially when you drop from high places. But overall, good game.
The last level was very good!
